Crystal Lynn Walden

Crystal Lynn Walden, age 18, departed this life on Tuesday, March 12, 2024. She was born on August 29, 2005. Crystal was loved by everyone that met her. She held a special place in everyone’s heart.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Luther Curtis Cline and Walter (Billy) Walden; great-grandparents, Ruth A. Mitchell and William (Bill) Bryant Sr.

She is survived by her parents, Lillian Walden (stepfather Jeff Cochran); father, Michael Walden; siblings, Alexia, Halle, and Abigail; stepsister, Payton; grandparents, Shirley Cline and Kathy Beavers; aunts and uncles, Elizabeth (Johnny) Barnard, William Avery Tacket, Johnny and Kenneth Walden, Bridgett (Mark) Patterson;  very special Aunt Dorothy Silcox. There are many other family members and friends that also survive.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made towards her final expenses.

A service to honor the life of Crystal Lynn Walden will be at 2 pm on Saturday, March 16, in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Rev Josh Allen officiating. The interment will be in the Fairy Valley Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 11 am to 2 pm.
