Clyde Parker Obituary

Mr. Clyde Parker, Paw Paw to his girls, entered his eternal rest on August 12, 2024, at the age of 87, at his residence in Chatsworth, GA. He was blessed with 25 years
of retirement doing the things he loved; family time, coon hunting, gardening, and tractor sales. He suffered five serious strokes in those latter years but faced life
challenges with a smile, no matter what. He stayed strong until the end. Loving and kind are the best ways to describe him. He coined one of our family phrases
that will remain forever in our hearts. Paw Paw, we will always “Love ye, love ye”.He was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Chatsworth.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Haywood and Irene Parker, brothers, Herschel, Leonard, Clifford, and Roy, Sisters, Nellie Davis, Polly Bishop, and Janelle Ashe.
He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Juanita. Daughter and Son-in-law, Steven and Tammy Stafford, Granddaughters and Grandsons-in-law, Josh and Sydnee Higdon, Brandon, and Sloane Singleton. Five great-grandchildren, Lisette, Milisende, Arden, Jackson, and Cooper. His siblings survive him, Lucille Blaylock and Gladys Scott. Many cherished nieces and nephews also survive.

A service to honor the life of Clyde Parker will be at 2 pm on Friday, August 16, 2024, in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Revs: Danny Cochran, Randy Ellis, and George Ross officiating. The interment will be in Murray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 15, 2024, from 4 pm to 9 pm.
The Arrangement is made with integrity by Shawn Chapman Funeral Home, Crematory, and Monuments
