Clifford Alan Long Obituary

Clifford Alan Long, age 71 of Chatsworth, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Clifford was retired from the Murray County Fire Department, Captain of Station 2, a veteran of the United States Army 82nd airborne Vietnam Era.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Mary Gibson Long; sisters, Betty Long, Barbara Eppinger, and Jo Williamson.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Song Long; children and spouses, Terri Long, Elizabeth, and Cody Spence; grandchildren, Brecken, and Dillon Spence; brother and sister-in-law Christopher and Pamela N. Long; sisters and brothers-in-law, Martha and Billy Berry and Teresa K. Sanders; Many nieces and nephews also survive. 

A memorial service to honor the life of Clifford Long will be 2 pm Sunday, January 21, 2024, in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home. 
The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Sunday, January 21, 2024, from 12 pm to 2 pm.
