Clara Thomas Obituary

Clara Norton Thomas, age 80, of Chatsworth, passed away June 1, 2022.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Grady Thomas Sr.; step-son Grady Thomas Jr; parents, Fletcher and Edith Norton; brother, Tommy Norton; sisters, Mary Jo Brown, and Veronica Jewell.

Survivors are daughter and son in law Sherry and Brian Ramsey, of Chatsworth, grandchildren, and spouses, Tara and Tyson Berry of Dalton; Zack and Kayla Ramsey of Chatsworth; great-granddaughter, Harper Grace Ramsey of Chatsworth; brother and sister in law Vincent and Melinda Norton of Resaca; special nieces, Linda Johnston of Dalton, Donna Rider of Dalton; several nieces nephew and cousins also survive.

The funeral service to honor the life of Clara Thomas will be Saturday, June 4, 2022, at 11 am in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Ronald Guffey, Randy Bates, and Tara Berry officiating. Interment will be in the Harmony Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 3, 2022, at the funeral home from 5 pm to 8 pm.
