Christopher Joseph Morton Obituary
Christopher “Jo” Joseph Morton, age 43 went home to be with the Lord on February 10, 2023.
He is preceded in death by his wife Christie Ann Morton; daughter, LaTasha Morton: grandmother, Mary Lou Brewer; uncle, J.C. Gravett.
He is survived by his children, Austin and Holly Morton, Destiny Morton, Brittany and Perry Hammit and Javin Morton; parents, Ricky and Jeanette Morton; brother, Isaac Morton; sisters and brother-in-law, Labreeska and Adolfo Pimentel, Dianne and Michael Spivey; grandchildren, Avyleene, Ashland, Eilajh, and Ayanna Morton, Allison, Brintley, and Nevaeh Hefner.
A service to honor the life of Joe Morton will be 2 pm Sunday, February 19, 2023, in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Pope and Bro. Shane Calhoun officiating. The interment will be at Mount Herman Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, February 18, 2023, from 5 pm to 8 pm.
