Mr. Charles William Pruett, better known as Bill, age 78, passed away July 9, 2021, at his residence.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Agnes Pruett.

He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Robbie Pruett: sons and daughters-in-law, Chuck and Melanie Pruett of Nashville TN: Ben and Lori Pruett of McDonough GA: daughter and son in law, Amanda and DeWayne Taylor of Ringgold GA: stepson, Reese Elrod: brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Carolyn Pruett of Rock Springs, Robert and Carlene Pruett of Rock Springs: sister and brother-in-law, Sheila and Bill McClung of Menlo, GA: grandchildren and spouse, Chase and Macy Pruett, Lauren Pruett, Emily Taylor, Emerson Pruett, Garrett Elrod: great-grandson, Eli Pruett: step-grandchildren Alex Crook, Tyler Simmons, Ella Simmons, Christian Crymes and Zoe Crymes. nieces Angela Pruett, Karen Pruett, April McClung, Julie McClung (Chris Evans): nephew, Joe Pruett

The funeral service for Mr. Pruett will be Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at 2 pm, in the Chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Ray officiating. The interment will be in the Murray Memorial Garden. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 pm to 2 pm on Tuesday.
