Alex Parker, age 13, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 17, 2023.
Alex brought so much joy to his family and all that he encountered. When he smiles his eyes lit up and would melt your heart. 

He is survived by his mother, Kristen Parker; nana, Cheryl Parker both of Chatsworth; pawpaw, Timmy Parker I of Calhoun; sister, McKenzily Parker of Chatsworth; uncles and aunt, Michael and Jordon Smith of Dalton, Timmy Parker II. of Calhoun; great grandparents, Donald and Linda Smith of Dalton, William Parker of Chatsworth, Micki Ellis of Fairmount; cousin, A.J. Smith; several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made toward his final expenses.

A service to celebrate the life of Alex Parker will be 2 pm on Friday, July 21, 2023, in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Cochran officiating. The interment will be in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, July 21, 2023, from 12 pm to 2 pm.
