Mr. Charles Henry Lawson Jr. age 77, passed away Monday, August 21, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Charles loved his family, and the outdoors, an avid deer hunter. He enjoyed time spent around campfires and telling tall tales.
He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Lawson Sr.; mother, Ruby Cox Lawson; brothers, Michael Lawson, and Kenny Lawson; son-in-law, Ricky Reed: great-grandson, McCoy Brown.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Stoker Lawson of 58 years; daughter, Bridget Reed; son and daughter-in-law, Chip and Kristy Lawson; grandchildren and spouses, Austin, and Falyn Brown, Skylar, and Brittany Brown, and Hannah Lawson; six great-grandchildren, a niece, and cousins also survive.
A service to honor the life of Charles Henry Lawson Jr. will be 7 pm on Thursday, August 24, 2023, in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Minster, Kevin Tackett officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Thursday, August 24, 2023, from 5 pm to 7 pm.
