Cecil "Junior" Jones Obituary
Mr. Cecil "Junior" Paul Jones, Jr., age 52, of Dalton, passed away on June 2, at Hamilton Medical Center.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Daisy Jones: grandparents, Bessie Sizemore, and William and Ada Jones: nephews, Leon Weeks, Tommy Reed and Terry Swim: father andmother in law, Joe and Jean Parker.
Survivors include father, Cecil Jones, Sr: wife, Rena Hall: sister and brother in law, Paula and Timmy Mooney: brother and sister in law. Jimmy and Robbin Jones:: daughters, Jennie Swim, Lara Hall, and Brittany Pangle: seven grandchildren, 9 nieces, and nephews: 8 great-nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Jones, Cecil Gilbert, Braydin Reed, Robbie Hall, Timmy Bradley, and Jeff Woodford.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at 2 pm in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Rev. Keely Hasty and Rev. Daniel Swaggerty officiating. Interment will be at Friendship Baptist Church at a later date. The Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 am until the funeral hour.
