Carolyn "Susie" Faye (Hawkins) Shoemaker

Carolyn Faye Shoemaker, age 76, passed away Monday, September 9, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Frankie Lee Shoemaker; parents, Boyd and Edith Hawkins; brother, Boyd Jr., Kenneth, and Gary Hawkins; sister, Nancy Clark; granddaughter, Whitney Breanna Shoemaker.
She is survived by her children and spouses, Randy and Angela Shoemaker, Nancy, and James Truslow, Frankie Shoemaker all of Chatsworth, Tammy and Kenneth Siger of Ellijay; grandchildren and spouses, Curtis and Kaila Shoemaker, Labron and Kimberly Shoemaker, Vaida and Isaiah Shoemaker, Heaven and Evan Long, Eric Mullins, Amanda Banks and Blake Banks, Anthony Mullins, Jessica and Doug Campbell, Tina and Jacob Deal, Sabrina Chambers, B.J. Mullins, Donavan Mullins, Hannah and Nuno Vasconcellos, Nathaniel Owens, Alan Shoemaker, Alex Shoemaker, Aiden (Cornbread) Shoemaker; sisters, Kaye Osborne, Teresa Vineyard; brother, Willard Hawkins; several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephew, and cousins also survive.
A service to honor the life of Carolyn Faye Shoemaker will be held Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 2pm in the Chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Rev. Robin Nelson and Rev. Rob Long officiating, The interment will be in the Immanuel United Fellowship Church.
The family will receive friends at the funeral Home on Friday, September 13, 2024, from 5 pm to 8 pm.
