Callista Killebrew

Callista Killebrew went to be with the Lord on August 31, 2021.
Born May 15, 1949, she was 1 of 4 girls. She married Ron Short and had Matthew and Kathryn. She later married Lee Killebrew and became Step Mother to Michael and John.
She moved the family to Georgia in the ’80s and had a great life swimming, hunting, and fishing with her family and beloved dogs. She was passionate about animal rescue and helped with the early animal shelters. She was fearless and committed.
In her later years, she loved being with her friends Calli and Cindy and many more. She was well cared for by the Murray Senior Center Staff and had lots of friends, particularly in the Craft room.
She is survived by Matthew and his daughter Angel. Kathryn is married to David and they have Tristan and Aidan. She deeply loved her grandchildren.
She was creative. She was sensitive and passionate. She loved God, family, her friends, and her animals. She will be missed.
