Brenda Lee Parks, age 78, of Dalton, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2023.

She is preceded in death by her son, William Mason Parks: granddaughter, Haley Leeanna Stanley: parents, James and Roberta Russell; brother, Johnny Russell; sister, Billie Ann Hartline.

Brenda is survived by her children and spouses, Tammy and John Proper of Ranger GA, Scarlett Collins and Jeff Joyner of Tucker GA, David and Jenny Parks of Dalton GA; grandchildren, Chris and Alecia Stanley of Simpsonville SC; Hannah and Matthew Carrol of Chatsworth GA; great-grandchildren, Bella, GiGi and Lincoln Stanley of Simpsonville SC, Sarah Holcomb of Cohutta GA, Caine Carroll of Chatsworth GA; The father of her children, Henry Parks Jr. of Dalton; brother and sister-in-law Tommy and Mary Russell of Summerville GA; many nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

A memorial service to honor the life of Brenda Lee Parks will be 6 pm on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Cochran officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, from 4 pm to 6 pm.
