Obituary

Bonnie Mae Baynes Watson, age 83 of Chatsworth, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.

Preceded in death by her husband Samuel Baynes; parents, Willie B. and Annie Davenport; sister Frankie Shadburn, Geraldine Savage, and Jessie Comans.

Survived by her husband, Richard W. Watson of Chatsworth; children and spouses, Karen Snyder (Roy Leatherwood) of Chatsworth, Debbie Mohony (Fredrick) of Alpharetta, David Baynes (Cathy) of Dalton, Patricia and Dennis Baynes of Tunnel Hill; grandchildren, Adam Stacy (Laura ), Jennifer Wade (Roland), Leighlee and Ava Mohony; great-grandchildren, Lexus and Brody Stacy, Oliver Wade; brothers, Elvin, Troy, Glen, Johnny and Gary Davenport; sisters, Janie Cochran and Audrey Bean; nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

A service to honor the life of Bonnie Mae Baynes Watson will be 2 pm on Tuesday, April,25,2023 in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home, with Lamar Beason officiating and Fredrick Mohony presenting the eulogy. The interment will be in the New Hope- Kilgore Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 from 12 pm to 2 pm.
