Bob “Fuel Boss” Badger Sr., age 91, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.

First and foremost, he was known for his love of Jesus Christ and could find him witnessing no matter where he was. He loved spreading God’s word.
Bob served in the United States Army for 24 years, served 2 tours in Vietnam and 3 tours in Germany. He was a graduate of Ocala High School and also a graduate of Christ for Nations Institute.  He loved flying airplanes, sailing, and riding motorcycles, and was a welding craftsman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Cheever and Irene Eugenia Badger; grandson, Jesse Badger.

He is survived by the love of his life Sarah “Honey” Badger; children, Jim and Sarah Badger of Sacramento CA, Scott and Lavelle Badger, Jeff and Priscilla Badger all of Crandall GA; Ginger and Perry  Phillips of Chatsworth GA; grandchildren, Keren and Dusty Lumley, Nic and Samatha Oquinn, Michael Ryan Badger, Claire Tanner, Trent and Emily Badger,  John Badger, Lynn Badger, Anne and Frank Robinson, Grace Badger, William and Kelley Badger, Leah and Jared Spier, Hannah Badger, Shannon and David Goncharuk, Gabriel Badger; great- grandchildren, Dawson Lumley, Dezi Davis-Brown, Adella Lumley, Kenzie Lumley, Kevin Brantley, Chloe Oquinn, Luke Oquinn, Daniel and Fiona Franklin, Atticus Badger and Gideon Badger. Elijah Badger, Hallie Jo Badger, Judah Spier, and soon-to-be Arlo James; brother, Tom Badger, and sister Sandra Bomar; best friends Ben and Rene Goldman.

A military service to honor the life of Bob “Fuel Boss” Badger Sr. will be held at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Ocala, FL
