Billie Marie Jackson, age 80, of Chatsworth, went home to be with Jesus on Friday, October 6, 2023.


Mrs. Jackson was a member of Liberty Tabernacle in Chatsworth, GA; she was a gospel singer.


She is preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Avo Robbins, husbands, Robert E. Murphy, and Jimmie Jackson; daughter, Alice Chambers; great-granddaughter, Coley Davis; sibling, Gene Robbins, Marguerite Smith, Janice Stevens, and Stevie Joe Robbins.


She is survived by her daughters, Kim (Bill) Woodson of Watertown TN, Janet Corbin of Lafayette GA, and Robin (Richard) Stiles of Lafayette GA. Sons, Lagary (Sharon) Jackson, of Calhoun GA, Gregory Jackson, of Bloomington Springs TN, Robert E. (Jennifer) Murphy of Chatsworth, and Hank  (Sonya) Jackson of Sparta TN. Grandchildren, Caleb Jackson, Marlissa McGill, Israel Woodson, Daniel Woodson, Nathan Murphy, William Murphy, Isaac Stiles, Nichole Davis, Ashley Murphy, Talina Murphy, Mykala Love, Robert Murphy III, Cindy Jarvis, Tommy Grant, Donnie Grant, Shane Richardson, Bobby Hensley, Ashley Hensley, and Katie Montano; great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survive. Siblings, Clifford Robbins, and Roger Robbins


A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Jackson will be at 12 p.m. Monday, October 9, 2023, in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Brother, Bobby Rogers, Brother Chas Bishop, officiating Nathan Murphy, and Daniel Woodson speaking with love for their grandmother. The interment will be in the Liberty Tabernacle Cemetery.


The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Sunday, Oct 8, 2023, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
