Mrs. Betty Sue Arthur Timms, (AKA Mamaw Sue) age 82, of the Crandall Community, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday July 21, 2022.
She was born April 27, 1940, in Polk County TN, the daughter of the late Kavanough and Esta Lee Arthur. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years Paul Timms; sister, Trenalo Crider; brother, Billy Arthur.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and a friend to all. She was a proud lifelong member of Calvary Baptist Church in Crandall.
Survived by her daughter Rhonda Timms Bryant (Chris) of Dalton; sons Ricky Timms (Jennifer) Tim Timms (Celeste) both of Crandall; grandchildren, Hailey Bryant Stanley(Shane) Colby Bryant (Katie) Zach Timms (April) Karli Timms, Eli Timms, and Lily Timms; Great grandchildren, Bryant, Cohutta, Sailor, Silo Stanley, Tymber and River Bryant, Jozie and Delilah Timms; sisters, Nina Jo Kilgore, Kathleen Franklin, and Roselle Baker; nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws also survive; A special friend and caregiver Donna Cantrell.
A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Betty Sue Timms will be Sunday, July 24, 2022, at 5 pm at Calvary Baptist Church, with Curt Thomason and Larry Chastain officiating. Interment will be in the Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery. The Family will receive friends at the church from 2 pm to 5 pm.
Pallbearers will be, Colby Bryant, Zach Timms, Eli Timms, Bryant Stanley, Kip Franklin, and Mike Kilgore, honorary pallbearers Tymber Bryant and Jerry Arthur.
