Betty Sue Rich, age 77 of Chatsworth passed away Wednesday April 15, 2026 at her residence.
She is preceded in death by her husband Sam Rich, parents Clay Evans Allen Sr. and Marie Tankersley Allen; brothers Jay, William, James Winston, Jackie, Clay Jr., Joe, Tommy, Gene, Stoney, Ellis, Gary, and Wendall Allen; sister Annie Williams, Ruby Woods, Marie Ann West, and Elsie Allen.
She is survived by her sons and their spouses, Scotty and Pam Rich and Sammy and Emily Rich; grandchildren Aiden Rich, Mallie Rich, Noel Henry Rich, and Addison Blanton; brothers John Allen, Jimmy and Doris Allen, and Charles and Mary Ann Allen; and sister Linda and Larry Pelfrey.
A service to honor the life of Betty Sue Rich will be held on April 17, 2026 at 1pm in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Wil Linginfelter officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11am until the funeral hour on April 17, 2026.
