Mr. Benjamin Dewayne Clayton, age 65, of Tunnel Hill, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2022, at Hamilton Medical Center.

He is preceded in death by his father, Benjamin F Clayton: and mother, Mary Virginia Clayton

Mr. Clayton is survived by his children, Jimmy Townsend of Rome and Crystal Clayton of Summerville: siblings and spouses, Faron and Tienna Clayton of Tunnel Hill, Darlene and Mark Speer of Chatsworth, Elizabeth and Darrell Franklin of Calhoun, Barbara and Allen Dykes of Chickamauga, Orville and Barbara Clayton of Summerville, Benny Clayton of Chatsworth, Henrietta Clayton of Resaca and Carol Clayton of Resaca. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A service to honor the life of Benjamin Dewayne Clayton will be Sunday, June 12, 2022, at 3 PM in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Darrell Franklin officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 until 3 PM on Sunday
