Avery Leon Chadwick age 57, of Dalton, Georgia, formerly of Fairmount, Georgia, passed away on May 21, 2026.
He was preceded in death by his father, C.R. Chadwick; his brother, Lenice Chadwick; his daughter, Brittany Puckett; and his grandchildren, Luna Zuniga and Matthew Quintero.
Avery is survived by his lifelong companion, Tammie Chadwick; his mother, Peggy Chadwick; and his sisters Janice Leach, Rhonda Lunsford, and Renee Chadwick. He is also survived by his children Christina Williams-Bowen (Bobby Bowen) and Haley Chadwick (Ryan Cox), his Pasquale Angelina Williams (Adrian Williams), along with his grandchildren McKensi, Ava, Madi, Brooke, Ada, Dakota, Peyton, Cayden, Ellie, and Wyatt.
Avery enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially on the golf course, a softball field or with a fishing pole in hand. He also took pride in his time in the kitchen, often cooking meals that brought people together. On game days, he could always be found cheering on the UGA Dawgs or the Atlanta Braves with steady enthusiasm. Above all, Avery valued time with his family, and he appreciated the moments—big and small—that he shared with them.
