It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Austen Ray Moss, who entered into eternal rest on July 24, 2026, at the age of 20.

He is preceded in death by his great grandfathers William Benny Dunn and Homer Eugene Moss; and grandmother Shery Moss.

Austen was the beloved son of Earnest Dusten Moss and Ashley Lynn Barnett. He was the cherished grandson of Earnest and Sherry Moss and April Barnett. He was the loving brother of Willbo and Keagen.

He is also lovingly remembered by his aunts, Vanna Moss, Christy Botsford, and Amanda Childers, and his uncle, Nathan Reynold, along with many other family members and friends whose lives were touched by his kindness and presence.

Though Austen’s life was far too short, he leaves behind a legacy of love and memories that will forever be treasured by those who knew him.

The family humbly asks for your prayers, love, and support during this time of unimaginable loss as they grieve the passing of a beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew, and friend.
