Aubrey “Clay” Silvers, age 77, of Resaca, passed away Thursday, March 2, 2023.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Dorothy Silvers; son, Jayson Silvers; brothers, Clyde and Travis Silvers; sister, Sheila Dannette Shelton; grandmother Maude Lynn Silvers.

Clay is survived by his children, Aubrey Silvers Jr., Greg Moore (Carrie) Anthony Silvers (Misty), Mandy Cook (Curt), Audrey Ponders (Roy), Caleb Silvers, Kelsey Hall, Kevin Silvers; brothers, Danny, Rickey, and Kent Silvers; sister Lisa Spence(Steve); grandchild, Christopher Lance Silvers(Shleigh) and 12 other grandchildren; great-grandchildren, Olivia Jaymes Silvers, Jude Moore, and three other great-grandchildren;

A service to honor the life of Clay Silvers will be 3 pm Sunday, March 5, 2023 in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Johnson officiating. The interment will be in the Silvers Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, March 5, 2023, from 2 pm to 3 pm.
