Annette Headrick Defoor went home to be with the Lord on December 22, 2024 surrounded by her family.
She is preceded in death by her mother Dorothy Bryant Headrick and father Deo Headrick; brother Julian; sister Marcelle Headrick Lents; and beloved twin sister Jeanette Headrick.
She is survived by her children Kent Defoor, Kevin(Debbie) Defoor and Angela(Mark) Buckner; grandchildren Jeremy(Jess) and Justin Defoor, Baili(Jackie) Abernathy, Branson Defoor, Chaisen and Ansley Buckner; great grandchildren Tucker and Holden Abernathy, Alaina and Aiden Ussery, and Ryland Defoor; brothers Milton(Helen) and Lamar(Dorothy) Headrick; sisters Peggy Headrick Kenemer, Joan Headrick Hawkins, and Karen(Ken) Headrick Carpenter; sister in law Joyce Headrick; several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was a loving and selfless mother and grandmother. She always put others needs before her. She was caring and thoughtful to everyone until the very end.

A service to honor the life of Annette Headrick Defoor will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at 2pm, in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Chuck Smith officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10am to 2pm. The interment will be at Calvary Baptist Church cemetery.
