Obituary

Albert M. Bryson, “Big Al” age 69 of Chatsworth, passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2023.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James Bryson, Sr and Sarah Drummond Bryson, brothers, James Bryson Jr. and Perry Bryson, and nephew David Bryson.

He is survived by his companion of eighteen years, Patricia Martin, and her children, Eric Martin (Kim) and Toni Bozeman (Barrett); fur son, Wilbur: nephews Dennis Bryson(Nancy), Delbert Bryson (Donna) Derick Bryson (Susan) and Jimmy Bryson; niece, Cindy Nichols, and a host of great nieces, great nephews, and friends.

Al loved to ride motorcycles. He was a member of the American Legion Riders. He had a number of friends he had been riding with since he was a teenager. Al worked for Vulcan Materials for forty-two years, operating various heavy equipment. He loved to deer hunt.

Services to honor the life of Albert Bryson will be Friday, April 7, 2023 at 1 pm in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Terry Cloud and Gary Fouts speaking. The interment will be in the West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, April 6, 2023, from 5 pm to 8 pm.
