Alan Clayton Pickard

Alan Clayton Pickard, age 57, was welcomed into his Savior’sarms on Sunday, September 19, 2021.
Alan touched so many lives all over the world through his ministry. He had a love for all people, animals, and flowers. He and his wife Patty owned H2O Pets Plus for seventeen years.
Alan’s legacy will continue on through his loving wife of 37 years, Patty Pickard; his four sons, Navar and Heather Pickard,Clayvin Pickard, Cade and Ngahana Pickard and Patton Pickard; and three amazing grandchildren, Brayden Pickard, Adalyn Pickard, and Leòn Pickard.
Alan is preceded in death by his parents, Clayton and Janell Pickard, sister, Beverly Pickard, and brother, Brent Pickard.
A memorial service in his honor will be Thursday, 6 pm September 23, 2021, in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home. Rev. James Washington, Susan Tankersley, and Mickey Atkinson will be officiating. Anyone that would like to share a memory or a message is welcome to do so. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 4 pm to 6 pm.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to continue the ministry he began in Costa Rica. Donations may be sent to his wife, Patty Pickard, at 1533 Renfroe Rd. Dalton GA 30721.
