Mrs. Wanda Kate Gulledge Jackson, age 84, of Chatsworth, passed away Friday, August 24, 2018, at her residence.

She is preceded in death by her husband: John "Jay" Jackson, son: Johnny Jackson, daughter: Gail Roe, granddaughter: Jessica Jackson, sons in law: Jack Varnell and Johnny Roe.

She is survived by a son: Eric Jackson and special friend Steve Batten of Ooltewah, TN., and daughter: Brenda Varnell of Chatsworth, grandchildren and spouses: Shawna and Jeremy Leech , Michael and Gina Watters, Wesley Jackson, Josh Varnell, Madison Varnell all of Chatsworth, Isaiah Watters of Calhoun, sisters: Jessie Coppock and Judy Gulledge of Old Fort, TN and Jean Ritchie of Dalton. Several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral Service for Mrs. Jackson will be held on Monday, August 27 at 11 AM in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Smith officiating. Interment will be in the Dill Cemetery in Old Fort, TN. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5 until 9 PM.
