Mr. Steve Elmer Roberts, age 54, of Rome passed away October 12, 2017 at his residence.
Mr. Roberts is preceded in death by his parents: John Olen and Katherine Marie Roberts and brother: Jimmy Roberts. He is survived by spouse: Susan Rogers of Rome, brother: Johnny Roberts of Chatsworth, sister: Rebbie Defore of Chatsworth, sister and brother in law: Linda and Horace Myers of Chatsworth, great nephew: Luke Defore of Varnell. Several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Funeral service for Mr. Roberts will be on Saturday at 2 PM in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Rev. Arthur Corbin officiating. Interment will be in Town Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Pickens county. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5 until 9 PM at the funeral home.
