Stella Head Obituary

Mrs. Stella Mae Head, age 77, of Chatsworth, passed away on March 17, 2019, at Advent Health Hospital.

She is preceded in death by parents: Della Mae Davenport Barber and Bob L Barber., granddaughter: Destiny Head, grandson: Daniel Lamar Head, sister: Ruth Allen and a brother: John C. Barber.

Mrs. Head is survived by her husband of 62 years: Carl Daniel Head of Chatsworth,daughter and son in law: Della Rosemary and Mark Beavers of Chatsworth, sons and daughters in law: Joseph Daniel and Wanda Adams Head of Chatsworth, Carl William and Susan Lynn Head of Chatsworth, sister: Betty Jean Norris of Chatsworth, sister in law: Doris Barber of Virginia Beach, VA. 15 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Funeral service for Mrs. Head will be on Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at 3 PM at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with Rev Jerry Davis officiating, Interment will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday at 11 AM until the funeral hour at Shawn Chapman Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be: C. J. Shoemaker, Joey Head, Davis Head, Stephen Dill, Jason Dill, Aaron Head, and William Norris.
