Mrs. Rosa Jacqueline "Jackie" Garner, age 81 of Murrayville, GA and formerly of Dalton went to be with Jesus Sunday, September 16, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her husband Rev. James Matthew Garner of 56 years, October 13, 2016.

Survivors include her Great Grandson, Damian Cole Slaton of Dahlonega, GA. Daughters and son in law, Peggy Ann Johnson of Calhoun, Sherrie Lynn and Tom Sabo of Dahlonega, GA. Sister and brother in law, Geraldine and George Tranum of Lawrenceville, GA. Seven Grandchildren, Thirteen Great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be Friday, September 21, 2018, 3 pm at the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Cooper and Rev. Jimmy Patterson officiating. Interment will follow in the Whitfield Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday 4 till 8 pm.
