Raymond C. Patton

Mr. Raymond C. Patton,age 90, of Dalton, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017. 

He was a devoted  member of the Dalton First Baptist Church, He loved woodworking, music, camping, reading, gardening and traveling.

He is preceded in death by parents: Emory and Carrie Lee Patton. sister: Evelyn Adamson, brothers: Ed Patton and Emory Patton, JR.

He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years: Emily Waldrep Patton, children and spouses: Peggy & Milton Owensby of Trenton, David & Carol Patton of Jasper, Paul & Angela Patton of Marietta, grandchildren and spouses: Amy & Dwayne Pittman, Daniel Owensby, Bryan Owensby, Elizabeth Patton, Ryan Patton, Rebecca Patton, great grandchildren: Bethany Pittman,  Bryce Pittman, Christian Ownesby, Noah Owensby and Jonas Owensby.  Several nieces & nephews also survive.

Funeral Service for Mr. Patton will be held on Thursday at 1 PM in the chapel of First Baptist Church of Dalton with Rev Jonathan Barlow and Rev. Phillip Cannon officiating.  Interment will be Murray Memorial Garden.  The family will receive friends from 12 until 1 in the Atrium of the Church.
