Mary Payne Obituary

Mrs. Mary Lou Welch Payne, age 92, of Dalton, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Artebury and Pearly Welch, brothers Truman and Hearch Welch, Husband of 70 years Marshall W. Payne, son and daughter in law, Steve and Nora Payne.

Survivors include her children and spouses, Carolyn and Michael Taylor of Cohutta, Gary and Kay Payne of Ball Ground, GA, Ronald and Kellie Payne of Chatsworth. Eleven grandchildren 26 great grandchildren several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be Monday 11 am in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Rev. Tamlyn Collins officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in McCaysville, GA. The family will receive friends Saturday 4 till 9 pm.
