Marvin Sanford Obituary

Mr. Jerry Marvin Sanford, age 81, of Dalton, passed away at his residence on April 9, 2019. He was an active member of Mineral Springs Methodist Church and loved fishing and gardening.

Mr. Sanford is preceded in death by his wife: Barbara Sanford, parents: Ira and Lona Sanford, brother: Bobby Sanford, and sister: Barbara Sanford.

He is survived by daughters: Janet Bonds, Cheryl Sanford, and Brenda Sanford all of Dalton, son, and daughter in law: Anthony and Charlotte Sanford of Chatsworth, grandchildren: Dee Curtis, Allen Bonds, Dione Bonds and Hampton Sanford, great-grand-children: Myles Curtis and Talon Bonds, brother Wendell Sanford of Dalton, Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Funeral service for Mr. Sanford will be Saturday, April 13, at 1 PM at Mineral Springs Methodist Church with Rev Gordon Delashmit officiating. Interment will be in Mineral SpringsCemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5 until 9 at Shawn Chapman Funeral Home.
