Margie L Johnson

Margie L. Johnson, age 68, of Chatsworth, passed away Friday, May 10, 2019. 

She was born in Rush, Kentucky on April 3, 1951 to Brady and Mary Nelson . She is a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many  She was a member of the Calhoun Church of God.

She is preceded in death by a daughter: Gina Laverne Johnson, Parents: Brady and Mary Nelson, sisters: Gina Denise Nelson and Charlotte Hulett, brothers: Sherman Arthur, David and Clarence Eugene Nelson.

Survivors include children and spouses: Sandra and Tony Dupree, Lucinda and Stacy Lyles, Rebecca Johnson, James and Lauren Johnson all of Chatsworth, sibblings and spouses: Sonda Raby, Nancy and Billy Fisher, Mary and Hack Hackworth, Barbara Darrow, Charles and Marti Nelson, Rickey Nelson, Kendra and Henry Myers, Larry and Ella Nelson, grandchildren: Thad and Sasha Caldwell, Michelle and Chris Rhodes, Brady Lyles, Nick and Sara Lyles, Kayla and Avery Caldwell, Dylan and Breanna Lyles, Isaac Lyles, Kimberly Chastain , Joselyn Johnson, great-grandchildren: Oliver, Riley, Addy, John, Luke, Ellie, Connor, Ella, Corbin, Maddeleigh, Aydia, Rylan, Cole. McKinley, Alandrei, Abby, Kat,  and Esme . Special friends:  Janie Herndon, Tammy Jenkins, Carolyn and Ashanti Keeton, Troy Porter, Susan and Seth McKinney and Linda Gaddy., Many nieces, nephews also survive.  

The Funeral Service for Margie will be Monday, May 13, 2019, at 3 PM in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home.  Interment will be ion Calvary Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Monday from 10 until the funeral hour at 3 PM.
