Hedy L. Stern

Mrs. Hedy L. Stern, age 73, of Chatsworth passed away Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017 at  her home surrounded by her family.  

She was born on February 14, 1944 in Oneida ,TN to the late Dave Chambers and Beatrice Pemberton Chambers.  In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Stern,  5 brothers; Earl Chambers, David Chambers, Thomas Edward Chambers, Ray Chambers, David Dwight Chambers, sisters: Jennifer Tomasello, Iva Lee Lay and Doris Byrd..

She is survived by her children: Anthony (April) Littleton, Brian Stern, Angela Stern, Shane Stern, all of Chatsworth, grandchildren: Andrew (Nicole) Littleton, Bradley Stern, Blake Duke, Amber Littleton, Cody Stern, Noah Fouts, Nicole Hales, Jonathan (Brandi) Stern,  great grandchildren:  Jaxon Hales, Maddox Stern, Maddison Stern, Hailey Dixon, Zane Littleton, brother:  Bill Chambers and wife Coleen of Oneida, TN, sisters: Janice Chastain and husband Lyn of Ocean Springs, MS., Joyce Bowling of Dalton, GA., Gail Sewell of Lafollette, TN., Sharon Kay Sewell and husband Richard of Indiana.  Several neices and nephews and  special family friends: Karen Underwood and Melinda Stone who helped care for her during her illness..

The funeral service will be at 8 PM on Thursday, September 7,  in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Rev. David Chambers officiating.  The family will receive friends from 2 until 8 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
