Mr. Fletcher Jackson, Sr. age 81 of Resaca passed away August 15, 2018, at his residence surrounded by his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents: John and Florence Fowler Jackson, grandson: Earl Nathanial Jackson and several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years: Betty Jean Jackson, children and spouses: Fletcher and Helen Jackson, Jr of Resaca, Patricia and Steve Priest of Resaca, Jackie and Tina Jackson of Resaca, Sheila Ann and Gary Garmon of Ellijay, Nancy and Gary Jarrett of Resaca, nine grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, brother and sister in law: Willard and Peggy Jackson of Chatsworth and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service for Mr. Jackson will be Saturday, August 18, at 12 o'clock in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Bobby Putnam, Rev. Robert Poe, and Rev Gary Jarrett officiating. Interment will be in Full Bible Cemetery in Dalton. The family will be receiving friends on Friday from 5 until 9 at the funeral home.
