Elizabeth Bonnell Pollard

Bonnell M. Pollard passed away August 20, 2018. She was 99 years of age.

She was a loving mother and leaves behind a daughter, June Phillips (Jerry), a daughter Patsy Jennings (Reynold), and a son, Wayne Pollard (Mary). She has 7 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Pollard, her parents, and a brother. Bonnell was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Dalton. She loved to crochet, knit, make ceramics, and loved her fishing trips with Roy and friends. She lived in Atlanta and Rome before moving to Dalton.

She will have a graveside service at Whitfield Memorial Gardens on Friday, August 24 at 12:30, Officiated by Rev. Chuck Harris, with Shawn Chapman Funeral Home in Charge, Her family wishes to thank the good care she received from Hamilton Hospice.

If you wish, her family requests that any remembrance donations be made to Hamilton Hospice, First Baptist Church or Christ community church.
