Donnie Michael Jones

Mr. Donnie Michael Jones, age 66 of Ellijay passed away Saturday, August 10, 2019, at his residence.

He was a long-time employee of Ingles Market, Loved his children, grandchildren and being outdoors riding his four-wheeler.

Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents: J.B. and Eloise Jones, sister: Kay Weaver, stepdad: Melvin Land.

Survivors include his children and spouses: Micheal and Tracy Jones of Ellijay, Jason and Heather Jones of Rossville, and Kay and Schaefer Southard of Chickamauga, grandchildren, and spouses: Brittany and Jake, Katie and Dakota, Danielle and Cody, Michael, Takota, and Ethan.  great-grandchildren: Noah, and soon to be born Paisley, and Joshua.brother and sister in law:  Bobby and Ann Jones of Blue Ridge.sister and brother in law, Debbie and Carl Moore of Ellijay niece and nephew his caregivers Chris and Kim Vanderhoff of Ellijay several other nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday, 4 pm at the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Rev. Zane Dutton officiating. Interment will follow in the Spring Place Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday 11 am till the funeral hour at 4 pm.
