David Bruce Creekmore

David Bruce Creekmore age 70 of Rocky Face passed away Friday, March 29, 2019.

He served in the United States Army and Retired from North Georgia Electric Membership Corporation after many years of employment. David also enjoyed Woodworking and golf. 

He was preceded in death by his father A.Z. Creekmore, stepfather Richard Mital, brothers Robert and Dewain Creekmore, father and mother in law, JB and Geneva Chance and a brother in law, Vernon Floyd.

David is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Brenda Creekmore, mother Ruth Mital sister and brother in law, Pam and Joey Abney, stepbrother and spouse, Jeff and Crystal Mital, stepsister, Andera Jones, sister in laws, Sue Floyd, Bonnie Creekmore and Mary Creekmore, brother in law and spouse, Mike and Pam Chance. Special Friend Gene Franklin and Sunday eating buddy Hunter.  Several special nieces, nephews, Great and Great Great nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be Monday, April 1, 2019, at 2 PM,  at Welcome Hill Baptist Church with Chris Tarvin, Travis Martin and Randy Postell officiating.  Interment will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens with military honors by Dalton American Legion Post 112.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home 10 am Monday at Shawn Chapman Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Bill Mooney, Danny Hales, Robert Jackson, Keith Queen, David Lea and Randy Skidmore.
