Mr. Alfred Edgar Jr. Coleman ,age 63 of Murray County, went to be with his heavenly father on Friday February 9, 2018.

Mr. Coleman was preceded in death by his beloved parents Alfred Coleman Sr. , Joan Coleman, and brother Randy Coleman.

Alfred Coleman Jr. is survived by: his loving wife of 45 years Vickie Coleman, Daughters and son-in-laws Christie and Shawn Berry, Jennifer and Adam Young, and Son Steven Coleman. Alfred is also survived by many grandchildren: Dennis Smith and wife Kim, Macala Patterson, Kenna Patterson, Braxton Lumpkin, Kadyn Young, Daylyn Young, and Allie Young; Mr. Coleman was also blessed with a great grandchild,Kinsley Smith, all of Chatsworth. Also surviving Alfred is a sister and brother-in-law Teresa and Edward Haynes of Dalton.

Mr. Coleman's family will be receiving friends at Maple Grove Baptist Church on Tuesday February 13, 2018 from 11 am up to the time of the funeral. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Maple Grove Baptist Church (Dalton) at 3 pm with Rev. Landon Brooks, Rev. Larry Morgan, and Rev. Vaughn Dalrymple officiating. Interment will follow at Little Prospect Cemetery.
