Mr. William (Bill) David Sexton, age 70 of Chatsworth, Georgia (formally of Lancing, TN) went to be with Jesus suddenly early Monday morning, February 1, 2016 at his home. Bill was born April 19, 1945 in Gobey, TN to the late William Ed and Ollie (Freels) Sexton. He graduated from Wartburg Central High School in 1963. He was a born again Christian and faithfully attended church. He retired as a truck driver.
He is survived by his wife Juanita Sexton.
He is survived by daughters: Cheri (Roy) Bible, Karen (Joel) Seaton and Regina Webb; all of Warburg, TN. Sons: Garold (Kim) Sexton and Derrick (Tina) Sexton; both of Chatsworth, GA.; the mother of his five children, Carol Mason Sexton of Lancing, TN. Fourteen grandchildren and Eight great grandchildren. Stepchildren: Carl (Christine) King of Plainville, GA and Wanda Howell of Calhoun, GA.
He is survived by his siblings: Robert (Fay) Sexton, Margret (Buster) Armes, and Ronnie Sexton; all of Lancing, TN. Roy (Angie) Sexton of Wartburg, TN and Reba (Ernest) Human of Sunbright. A host of nieces, nephews and other family, friends and loved ones.
Visitation will be Friday, February 5, 2016 from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at Shawn Chapman Funeral Home.
