Mr. Van E. Fleming age 86 of Casey Springs Community, passed away Monday July 11, 2016 as the result of a automobile accident.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Grover and Ella Noles Fleming, Four brothers, Hugh, Willie, Ellis Fleming, and Johnny Parkerson, Three sisters Tennie McCall, Belle Ray and Margaret Abernathy.
Van was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Dorothy Stanley Fleming, sons and daughters in law, Stanley and Sarah Fleming, Perry and Connie Fleming all of Chatsworth. Grandchildren and spouses, Calvin and Angie Ray, Randy and Robin Fleming, Micah and Joy Fleming, Courtney and David Chambers, and Amanda Fleming all of Chatsworth, Anthony and Amanda Fleming of Calhoun. Great Grandchildren, Alaina Ray, Emily Greeson, Tyler and Jada Fleming, Austin and Hunter Carnes, Kobe Chambers, Aidan, Gavin and Brayden Fleming and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be Thursday 2 pm at the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Casey Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday 5 till 9 pm.
