Mr. Preston Brock, age 81, of Chatsworth passed away Wednesday at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Clarence Albert & Georgia Thelma (Wright) Brock, brothers: Herman Brock and Keith "Beecher" Brock.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years: Elvylee Brock of the residence, children and spouse: Cathy Brock, Teresa Kibbe, Michael and Gail Brock, grandchildren and spouses: Michelle, Mandy, Kenny and Gwendolyn, Joseph and Maggie, Montana, Kelsey and Seth, Kyle, Amanda ,great grandchildren: Jessie, James, Tori, Gracie, Tyler, McKinley, Marcus, McKalay, Callie, David, Mellie, great great grandchildren: Gwendolyn, Addison, Waylon,, sisters and brothers in law: Frances and Ben Burgess, Betty Jo and Jim Crawford, Sadie and Johnny Brown, Syble Pendergrass, sisters-in-law: Myrtle Brock and Winnie Brock. Aunts, nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral service for Mr. Brock will be on Saturday May 27, at 3 PM in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Rev Mark Bowen and Rev. Lamar Payne officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Carmel Church Cemetery. The family will recieve friends on Friday from 5 until 9 pm.
