Although I was a child at the time, I distinctly remember when Melvin was working at Hufstetler's grocery store in Chatsworth and was dating his wife. They were such a sweet couple and even though I was just a boy it was obvious how much they cared for each other. His work ethic was evident and his career with the U.S. Postal Service clearly points out his dedication. May your memories become a treasure for you as you adjust to life without him in this physical world.

So sorry for your loss...I was a childhood friend of him and Julian and a classmate of his, my dad worked with him at the post office for many years, He was a great person and will be missed by many.
