John Craig Obituary

Mr. John W. (Jay) Craig, Jr., age 74 of Dalton, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2018, at Hamilton Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Craig is preceded in death by his parents: John William & Cleo Cobb Craig, and sister: Claudette Roden.

He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years: Kathy Brookshire Craig, children & spouses: John W (Trey) Craig III, and Ashley & Mark Raburn all of Dalton, brother: Harlan and Betty Craig of Marietta, brothers & sisters in law: Jim Roden, Ronnie Brookshire, Terri and Chris Shockley, Donna Hayes, father in law & mother in law: Buell and Jean Brookshire of Chatsworth. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5 until 9 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be at 3 pm on Thursday, February 22, 2018, at Shawn Chapman Funeral Home. Interment will be in Whitfield Memorial Garden.
