Mr. Jerry Lee Roper age 52, of Morganton, GA passed away Monday July 24, 2017, at his residence.
He is preceded in death by his parents May and Jean Roper, and his son, Justin Lee Roper.
He is survived by his soulmate for life, Janet Helms of Dalton, daughters, Savannah Roper of Chatsworth and Willow Dillingham of Blue Ridge, three grandchildren, sisters, Sandra Wright of Suches, GA, Glenda Rice of Crandall, brothers, Leonard Roper of Gilmer County, Everett I. Roper of Eton, David Lee Roper of Morganton, GA, and Charles Christopher Roper of Morganton, GA. Several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Funeral Services will be Friday 1 pm at the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Taccoa Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday 5 pm till 9 pm.
