Mr. James Raymond Walker age 76 of Chatsworth passed away Wednesday March 22, 2017 at Murray Medical Center.
Raymond was an avid outdoors man and a member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church Family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clint and Marie ( Winkler ) Walker and a brother, Frank Walker.
Survivors include his spouse, Paulette Walker, children and spouse, Lynne and Mitchell Long, Meridith Walker all of Chatsworth.
Grandchildren and spouse, Lauren and Brandon Adams of Varnell, Tanner Long and Hannah Long both of Chatsworth, Isaac McGill and Carter McGill and their father, Jake McGill all of Dalton. A great grandaughter, Ellison Cate Adams of Varnell.
Brothers and sisters in law, Bill Walker, Doug and Lena Walker, Mack and Diann Walker, Gwen Walker all of Chatsworth. Sisters in law and spouse, Margaret and Carl Albright of Watauga, TN, Betty Parrott, Joyce Gregory, and Katheryn Springfield all of Chatsworth. several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services will be on Saturday at 3 pm in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Souther and Rev. James Nix officiating. Interment will follow in the Cool Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday 12 noon till the funeral hour.
