Mr. James Matthew Garner, age 84, of Murrayville, Georgia passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home on Thursday, October 13, 2016.
He is survived by his wife Rosa Jacqueline Garner. Daughters and son in law, Peggy Johnson of Calhoun, Sherrie and Tom Sabo of Dawsonville. Seven grandchildren, Thirty great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be Saturday 3 pm at the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home. Interment will be at Whitfield Memorial Gardens. Dalton Masonic lodge will have Masonic Rites and Chatsworth American Legion post 167 will have Military Honors. In lieu of flowers please make donations to his wife Rosa Jacqueline Garner or daughter Sherrie Sabo.
The family will gather at 4 pm Friday and the receive friends 5 till 9 pm.
