Mrs. Geraldine Young, age 79 of Chatsworth, passed away May 29, 2017 at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Allen Young, parents, Leonard and Fannie Mae Hardin, sister, Shirley Lavon Mitchell.
Survivors include her son, Allen Young of Chatsworth. Daughters, Glenda Turner of Chatsworth, and Sharon Hayes of Cleveland, TN. Sister Lavada Cady of Cohutta, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday 4 pm at the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Clayton and Rev. Bobby Timms officiating. Interment will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday 5 pm till 9 pm.
