George H. Sanford

Mr. George H. Sanford age 78 of Chatsworth passed away Monday September 5, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Dennis and Emma Sanford, one brother: Johnny Sanford and one sister: Louise Sanford.

Mr. Sanford is survived by his wife of 56 years: Barbara Ballew Sanford, children and spouse: Ken Sanford, Angela and Bruce Ridley all of Chatsworth, nephews: Mark Sanford and   William Sanford both  of Ellijay, Nathan Ridley and Heath Ridley both of Chatsworth, Sister in law and brother in law: Clarinda and Richard Ridley of Chatsworth and special pet: Lexi.

Funeral Service for Mr. Sanford will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 2 PM in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home. Interment will be in Spring Place Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5 until 9 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, make contributions to Spring Place Baptist Church, 441 Hwy 225 , Chatsworth, GA. 30705, or to Spring Place Cemetery in care of Tim Howard, 329 Hwy 225  Chatsworth.
