Mr. George Luke Johnson age 72 of Chatsworth, passed away Tuesday October 18, 2016.
Mr. Johnson is preceded in death by his parents: Carl and Evilee Johnson Sr., son: Michael Johnson, grandson: Adam Bartley, and one brother: Carl Johnson, Jr.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Teresa Johnson, son and daughter in law: Kevin & Crystal Johnson of Tunnel Hill, daughters and sons in law: Lisa & Jody Strickland of Chatsworth, Angela & Calvin Keel of Chattanooga, Diane & James Duckett, Jr. of Ellijay, Melissa & Jack Manuel of Resaca, 14 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, sister: Shirley Johnston of Ringgold, brother and sister in law: Johnny & Shirley Johnson of Chatsworth, sister in law: Ruby Johnson of Chatsworth and many nieces and nephews .
The Funeral Service for Mr. Johnson will be held Thursday, October 20 at 4 pm in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Rev Jody Strickland officiating. Interment will be in the Eton Cemetery.. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4 until 9 P.M. at the funeral home.
