Mr. Donald Edward (Eddie) Bishop passed away early Friday morning October 21, 2016 after a long struggle. He was surrounded by his family during his final days. He was born in Atlanta on May 12, 1965. He was 51 years old. Eddie resided with his mother Jewel Morris Bishop in Chatsworth. Eddie attended Cheerhaven in Dalton while growing up and Murray County Development Center as an Adult. He always loved his many hats and was a really big fan of NASCAR racing.
He is leaving behind his mother Jewel Morris Bishop of Chatsworth, sister and brother in law, Renee and Bucky Cope of Rocky Face, nieces, Tiffany Gipson of Morgantown, WV, Torey Cope of Decatur and Taylor Cope of Athens, many other family and friends who loved him just for being himself.
Goodbyes are not forever, Goodbyes are not the end, they simply mean we'll miss you until we meet again. We will see you soon Eddie, Love you always.
Mr. Bishop will be cremated and no services at this time.
